NCBI Training at UC Davis: July 12 - 13, 2005

The UC Davis University Library is hosting the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) course "A Field Guide to GenBank and NCBI Molecular Biology Resources" at UC Davis on Tuesday July 12 and Wednesday July 13, 2005.
The course is free but registration is required.
The NCBI course is a lecture and hands-on computer workshop covering effective use of the Entrez databases (including GenBank) and search services.
The course consists of a three-hour lecture in the morning (July 12), followed by a two-hour computer workshop either that afternoon or in the morning or afternoon of the following day (July 13).
Attendance at the lecture is required in order to attend a computer workshop.
Registration & Additional Information:
UC Davis faculty, students, and staff who register before July 1, 2005 will receive priority. NCBI Course is full, registrations are no longer being accepted.
