Login with your UC Davis kerberos username and password.

You will be presented with the Welcome screen which displays a list of options from which to search, or you may type a URL directly into the browse bar directly beneath the VPN toolbar in the upper right corner. In this example, the Electronic Databases option is chosen.

Next, you may choose a database to search from all available databases. For example, choose 'W.'

Then choose 'Web of Science.'

This will bring you to the Web of Science interface where you can conduct your search.

After you conduct your search, your results will be listed with all of the same options available to you as are when you are searching from the library.

For example, you will be able to get the full text via the 'UC-eLinks' link.

You will notice the navigation bar in the upper right-hand corner in each of the new windows that opens during your search. At any point during your search, you may click the house icon to return to the welcome screen or the door icon to logout and end the session. Remember, if you do not see the VPN toolbar, you are no longer in VPN.

Once you logout, you will see confirmation that your session has ended.
