Shields Library Public Computers

December 1, 2010:

The Shields Library has put aside a number of public computers specifically for UC Davis student, faculty, and staff use. In order to use these computers, one must sign in with a Kerberos ID and password. By pass-wording specific computers, the Library is allowing members of the UC Davis community prioritized access to materials for university research and instruction, as well as the ability to download files to a flash drive. Use of computer resources by unaffiliated users is permissible if not in conflict with priority users. Use of any public library computer is limited to twenty minutes when others are waiting for access.

For information on the location of Kerberized machines or those open to the public, please ask at the reference or circulation desks.
