Keir Reavie: NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellow
Keir Reavie, Department Head of the Health Sciences Libraries, has been selected as a FY09/10 Fellow in the leadership program sponsored by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL). The NLM/AAHSL Leadership Fellows Program is focused on preparing emerging leaders for the position of library director in academic health sciences libraries. This is a highly competitive program in which only thirty-five fellows have been selected since the program's inauguration in 2002. Fellows have an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in a variety of learning settings, including exposure to leadership in another environment by being paired with mentors who are academic health sciences library directors. Congratulations and best wishes to Keir as he embarks on his adventure!
