The Library in Crisis document

In 2008, the UC Davis Academic Senate's Library Task Force developed a document entitled "The Library In Crisis" which was intended to provide an opportunity to raise awareness of some issues, while supporting the Library as a key resource for the UC Davis community. Library Administration identified discrepancies in data use and interpretation in this document and draws some different conclusions than the Task Force. The Library acknowledges the important work of the Task Force and appreciates the opportunity to respond, highlighting the major differences.

Library Response to "Library in Crisis"

California Aggie

The California Aggie has published articles regarding the General Library which were based on inaccurate information and misinterpretations of data. Efforts to have this information corrected in their newspaper have remained unsuccessful. This document responds to the one of those articles.
