Reference Service Policies:
Reference librarians and staff are available at the UC Davis Libraries reference desk during scheduled hours to help users locate answers to their questions and use a wide range of library resources in print and electronic formats. Computer workstations are available for users to consult library catalogs and databases and access other Internet based resources. Librarian Subject Specialists can assist in specialized subject areas.

Brief reference assistance is available to users who telephone the reference desk. E-mail reference assistance is intended for UC Davis students, faculty, and staff. If you are not affiliated with UC Davis, we can respond only to questions about the unique collections and resources of the UC Davis Libraries.
