Negotiations are ongoing. Access to the Nature Publishing Group (NPG) journals are on a month to month basis. We recognize that these journals are of high quality with many heavily used. We prefer to continue to subscribe to these high quality and high use titles. Unfortunately, the proposed renewal price quoted to UC is approximately 400% higher than the 2009 costs. NPG has also launched several new titles which are not in the currently subscribed group of titles.
