It is recommended that you use 'user@lib.ucdavis.edu' as your email address. Doing so will allow the systems department to better support you. Please see the migration instructions if you would like to move.
- Incoming Server

Email clients should use 'mail.lib.ucdavis.edu' as the incoming email server. Be sure to check the secure connection or SSL option.
- Outgoing Server

Email clients should use 'smtp.lib.ucdavis.edu' as the outgoing mail relay server. Be sure to check the secure connection or SSL option and use PLAIN as the authentication mechanism.
- IMAP Protocol

Use IMAP as the protocol to read your email.
- Secure Connections

IMAP and SMTP traffic must use SSL encryption. Ensure that you've installed the library's Certificate Authority (CA) certificate, which allows the library's SSL certificates to be recognized as valid.
