Microfiche and Microfilm
Cataloged microfiche, microfilm and microcards are kept in cabinets in the first floor Reference Area. A microfiche/film reader/printer is located next to the microfiche collection. The cost of printing is 15 cents per page. The printer accepts Taylor Made copy cards only. The microcard reader, located on top of the microfiche cabinets, can be used to view microcards but not to print them. Copies from microcards can be made at Shields Library Copy Services. The cost is 25 cents per page.
Reference and Atlas Collection
The Reference Collection contains printed and electronic sources in chemistry, engineering, physics, and other physical sciences. This collection of dictionaries, encyclopedias, indexes, abstracts, handbooks, and atlases is used primarily to locate other, more in-depth information. Reference materials are library use only.
