Reserves Services

Reserves Services are provided at both the Carlson Health Sciences Library and the Blaisdell Medical Library. The Carlson Health Sciences Library supports the curriculum for the School of Veterinary Medicine and other health science related graduate groups. The Blaisdell Medical Library houses Course Reserve and College Reserve materials for the School of Medicine.

The Reserves Units of the two Health Sciences Libraries are comprised of three types of material:

Course:

On Reserve for a class during the current quarter.

College:

Purchased by a particular department or college and housed at the library, access is restricted to individuals within that department or college (Ex, the West College collection available only at the Blaisdell Medical Library).

Permanent:

Library-owned material with special borrowing restrictions, such as study room keys, and CD-ROMs with licensing restrictions.
