Small Animals
Call the Small Animal Clinic at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at 530-752-1393.
Large Animals
Call the Large Animal Clinic at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) at 530-752-0290.
VMTH Email
Go to the VMTH web page. Click on UserFeedback Form in the blue bar on the left. On the next screen, type your message on the form and submit it.
Referring a Case
There is information about private practitioner referrals on the VMTH website.
Veterinary Genetics & Breeding
(For large or small animals) call the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory (VGL) at 530-752-2211.
VGL Email
Go to the VGL web page. Click on the "email" link at the top of the page (in red letters after the words "Customer Service..."). On the next screen, fill out the email form and submit it.

Articles and Book Chapters

Non-UCD health care providers may order articles and book chapters from the UCD Carlson Health Sciences Library. Registration is required. The basic charge is $11.00 each. Items are usually sent electronicallywithin 3-4 days. There are additional charges for FAX or RUSH.

Books

Use the Harvest Library Catalog to find books that the UC Davis libraries own. To borrow a book you must have a library card; or you can ask your public library to borrow the book on your behalf.

The UC Davis libraries offer various categories of library cards to unaffiliated users. For more information about library cards, contact the HSL Circulation Desk at 530-752-8041 or hslcirc@ucdavis.edu.
