DDS Services and Fees for UC Davis Students and Staff
- Items must be available at participating UC Davis Libraries.
- Patrons must register for DDS before placing requests (if fees apply).
- Electronic delivery is standard, although other delivery options are available.
No Charge Services for Students and Staff
In order to provide the campus community access to library materials at the Blaisdell Medical Library (in Sacramento) current UC Davis students and staff are eligible for free delivery of Blaisdell Medical Library (BML) materials when all of the following conditions apply:
- Item requested is held only at the Blaisdell Medical Library (BML) and is not available online
- Item requested is Library Use Only or has a check-out period of 1-day.
UCDMC-based students and staff are eligible for free delivery from main campus libraries.

Payment Options
Two payment options are available.
Departmental Recharge
Departmental accounts may be recharged for DDS service. Recharge account information must be provided upon registration. Users are responsible for notifying the library of any changes in recharge account information.
Bill
An invoice will be sent for requests filled within each calendar month. Bills must be paid by cash or check at the Cashier's Office in Dutton Hall. Bills must be paid promptly. The rules that apply to library circulation bills also apply to DDS bills (see: Abuse of Library Privileges).
